There is no second like the Abe Partridge from Mobile, Alabama, that's for sure. Before starting his musical career, Partridge was a pastor and served in the Middle East as a soldier. Since the release of his acclaimed debut 'Cotton Fields And Blood For Days' (2018), Partridge has been touring tirelessly and has built a reputation for his songs and performances that are moving, passionate and comedic at the same time. But he is more than a musician, former pastor and war veteran. He is also increasingly successful as a visual artist, he designed album covers for Charlie Parr and Tyler Childers, among others, and his work hangs against the wall of many enthusiasts around the world. In addition, he has made a much-listened-to podcast series, in which he pays attention to previously undocumented music played in churches in the American Appalachians where – for lack of a better Dutch word – serpent handling is practiced. He will also talk about it in Rotterdam and his paintings will also be exhibited. But do see his performance, with many songs from his new album 'Love In The Dark'.
